About — TechHaps
Last updated: 14 Sep 2025
Welcome to TechHaps — a no-fluff publication about building, shipping and understanding technology. We cover software engineering, AI/ML, product development, design systems, DevOps, security, data, and the business of tech.
Our goal is simple: turn complex topics into clear, actionable knowledge you can use today.
What we publish
- Deep dives & guides. Hands-on tutorials, architecture notes, performance playbooks, and reliability patterns.
- Breakdowns. We unpack papers, RFCs, API updates, and standards into practical takeaways.
- Opinions (grounded). Evidence-based essays about tools, stacks, and trade-offs.
- Teardowns. Real-world case studies: what worked, what didn’t, and why.
- Cheatsheets & templates. Ready-to-use checklists, prompts, and runbooks.
Editorial principles
- Evidence over hype. Benchmarks, references, and reproducible steps where relevant.
- Clarity first. Plain language, diagrams, and examples — not buzzwords.
- Respect for readers. No dark patterns, intrusive ads, or pay-to-play placements.
- Accountability. We correct mistakes and timestamp updates.
- Accessibility. We write and design for inclusive reading.
How we work
- Review workflow. Draft → technical review → editorial review → fact check → publish.
- Attribution. We credit original authors, projects, datasets, and images.
- Updates. We revise articles as tools and standards evolve; changes appear in the update note.
Revenue & independence
TechHaps is reader-first. If we use ads or affiliate links in the future, we will:
- Label sponsored content clearly.
- Keep editorial decisions independent of sponsors.
- Disclose affiliate relationships in-line and on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
- Publish our Advertising Guidelines for partners.
Team & contributors
TechHaps is built by a distributed team of engineers, editors, and designers. We also collaborate with guest authors who have domain expertise.
